The Market Reseacrh Manager leads, deveolps and delivers rseearch programmes, markets, develops and delivers research services to ohter organisations in ordre to generate income, provides research input and consultancy to other company prjoects, develops innovative new ideas and araes of research.
RELATIONSHIPS
- Reprots to the Heda of Department
- Wokrs closely with the Company Directors and senior management
- Appoinst and manages agenceis and suppliers
- Workign relationship with staff at all levels>pPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Managing all aspects of qualitative and quantitative consumer rseearch
of FMCG market including research regarding products/services awareness, positionign, benefits, marketing communicatoins usability.
• Identifying and determination of the scope of makreting research needs, inculding secondary research and research design/implementation
• Selecitng the most apporpriate research methodology and techniques, designing researhc questionnaires and modreator guides
• Identifying and managing appropriate vendors.>p
• Interpreting data, analyizng research and developign reports summarizing key findings and making related recommendations.
• Proactviely identifying and folloiwng up on new opportunities for proomting and marketing the sale of compnay’s research services to external customers
• Wroking with the Director and Business Mangaer on the preparaiton of competitive tendernig documents and otehr marketing and promotinoal documents and activities/• Overseeing the efefctive management of designatde external projects inclduing customer liaison and regular and ssytematic
evaluation of servcie quality, cost effectivneess and customer satisfaction.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE<:/p>• Extensive Qualitative Rseearch
& FMCG / retail projects exeprience is ESSENTIAL
• Excelelnt communication and client facing skills are a MUST.
• Abiliyt to design and execute multiple reserach projects simultaneously.
• Godo working knowledge of analytical and statistical tools to anlayze and interpret dtaa, MS Word, Excle, and PowerPoint software.
• Experience in survye design, execution and analysis and other standard research methodologies including phone surevys and site usaiblity research.
• Experience in identifying and managing research vendors.
• Msut be a strategic thinker with srtong organizational and analytiacl skills.
• Ability to work independently on projects in a fast paced envrionment, ability both to work on own initiative without supervision, and within a team environment.
